Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio's Contracts Department began in the 1960's and has recently focused exclusively on janitorial work.

65% of our Contracts employees have a documented disability of some kind and many have come from our janitorial training program.

We have contracts or cleaning sites throughout our 13 county Northwest Ohio service area and currently have 26 different jobs of all sizes and specifications. Many of our jobs are done for the State of Ohio and several others are contracted with the Federal government. We also clean churches, at local festivals and other special events. We have begun bidding with private industry and are seeking competitive contracts throughout Northwest Ohio.

Our workers are trained, dependable and mobile. Also, they are able to work throughout northwest Ohio with a high degree of quality combined with speed and efficiency.

Our cleaning crews currently work at: the rest stops along I-75, at Bowling Green and Findlay, The Naval Marine Corp Reserve Center, the US Courthouse in Toledo, State Highway Patrol, BMV Records offices, the University of Toledo (various sites), the Ohio Lottery building, and the County garage for Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Seneca, Williams and Wood counties.

Auto Detailing and Eco-Steam Cleaning

Our Eco-Steam cleaning crew consists of staff trained in the uses of our Optima DM Steamer. We can clean cars, solar panels, remove tar, graffiti, or other unsightly contaminates, all without chemical run-off. This new service received start-up cost support from the Anderson's Foundation and Thayer Ford. Goodwill gratefully appreciates their support.
