The Employee Assistance Program – Because We Care About You!

Goodwill Industries recognizes that employees sometimes face challenges in their lives that make it difficult to focus at work.  Having a place to talk about those struggles can be helpful, so we have partnered with HealthSpan EAP, formerly known as the Mercy Employee Assistance Program, to provide free confidential counseling and coaching to employees and their immediate family members.

In the past, Mercy EAP and HealthSpan have each operated as separate entities within Catholic Health Partners, their parent organization.   Although EAP services have been consolidated throughout Ohio under the HealthSpan name, you will continue to receive the same quality service that you have experienced in the past.  Nothing has changed in terms of their staff or office locations.

Reach out to HealthSpan EAP for help concerning family, marital or relationship issues; depression or anxiety; grief or loss; work-related concerns; substance abuse or dependence; financial difficulties; or any other life issue with which you may be struggling.

To take advantage of your employee assistance program, call (419) 251-1444 or (888) 877-2362 to schedule an appointment at one of HealthSpan EAP’s convenient office locations.  You may also check out their website at

This free confidential service offers counseling sessions with Master’s level, licensed professionals who can help with a variety of issues, including but not limited to:

  • Marital or relationship problems
  • Parenting concerns
  • Eldercare issues
  • Financial pressures
  • Depression/anxiety
  • Substance abuse/dependence
