Employee Recognition Awards

Goodwill would like to honor employees and stakeholders that have gone above and beyond in 2015 in regards to their contribution to Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio and the individuals we serve.  Therefore, please review the categories listed below to determine if you know of an employee or employees that deserve nomination and recognition. To nominate for one of these awards, please send via fax or voicemail to Brenna (Ext. 3202) the following information by Monday, January 5, 2016:   Name, location, employee position, award recommendation and reason for nomination (please be specific).

  • Employee of the Year 
    • Given to the employee who most embodies the spirit of Goodwill and its mission.


  • Saving Grace Award 
    • Given to the employee whose actions have been above and beyond the call of duty and have served to lift Goodwill.


  • Acceleration Award 
    • Greatest improvement their work performance over the past year.


  • Shining Star Award 
    • This is for the employee who has outstanding adaptability and work ethic.


  • Harold Lunde Award 
    • This award is for a person, inside or outside of the organization, who has looked out for Goodwill’s present and future well-being by thinking out of the box and suggesting creative future directions, helping us to become the premier non-for-profit organization in NW Ohio.

It is never too late to enroll
