Goodwill Industries unveils new service for job hunters! The Recession may be over; looking for a job in this current atmosphere of economic uncertainty can be challenging for many people. Goodwill Industries can help. We have been teaching people for years how to prepare resumes, interview effectively and how to seek out the best job available. Now those same skills are being offered as part of our new Job Club. The Job Club will start in January, and meet every Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at our downtown location, the corner of Cherry and Huron. Larry Tinker, one of our Community Employment Specialists and the 2011 Employee of the Year, will be leading the weekly group. He said, “This Job Club will provide services to the community to equip people with the tools to find employment.” The Job Club will teach Job Seeking Skills, How to complete applications, What employers are looking for, and Interview skills. He said, “This is a rounded approach to finding a job.” Please follow the link to see the Job Club flyer. Read More News
