New Goodwill Boutique First Of Its Kind

 

Findlay, Ohio Exciting news, Goodwill of Northwest Ohio is opening it’s first ever Boutique!  Goodwill’s South End Boutique will open for business at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5.  

 

The boutique, located at 2435 S. Main St. in the Servus Center at Findlay South, will feature 2,500 square feet of “high-end” designer clothing, accessories, collectibles and antiques.  Also featured will be a wide selection of jewelry by local designer Karen Herold of Bead Happy.

 

Shoppers will be able to find items from famous label designers such as Prada, Coach, Cucci, Dooney & Bourke, Versace, Burberry, Kate Spade, and many more. 

 

According to Amy Wachob, Goodwill’s vice president of retail operations, “The new South End Boutique will give people a chance to buy very high-end designer apparel and accessories for a fraction of its original cost.”  Unlike Goodwill’s standard retail stores, clothing prices at the Boutique will range from $10 to several hundred, depending on the item.

 

“Goodwill is very fortunate to receive such valuable donations throughout our community and region.  We are offering the South End Boutique as a means to bring the full value of these items that the donors intended for our mission of providing training and jobs for people with barriers to employment.”

Hours of operation for the South End Boutique are Monday, 10 – 5:00 p.m., closed Tuesday, Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:00 – 5:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., closed Sunday.  The Boutique is adjacent to Goodwill’s donation center at 2435 S. Main St. and accepts Visa, Master Card and Discover.

 

Since 1933, Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio has provided employment and job training to individuals with disabilities and/or work-related disadvantages. As unemployment increases, so does the need for Goodwill’s services. Strong families and communities are a result of individuals who have gained economic independence and become a contributing member of the community.
