Joe Malburg

Nineteen year-old Joe Malburg of Metamora, Ohio, likes to work. In fact, Joe enjoys working so much that he now has three, part-time jobs, two of which are through Goodwill's janitorial contracts department.

Joe attended Four County Career Center, Archbold, Ohio, through their Transition Program and was referred to Goodwill through the center's job training coordinator. He does janitorial work three days a week at the Swanton Highway Patrol Post, and one day a week for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) garage on Alt. Rt. 20. Both jobs are half day positions. Prior to these positions, Joe had done janitorial work for the Fulton County ODOT garage.

When not working through Goodwill's contracts department, Joe is a product packager for Hanifan-Parker Corporation in Waterville, Ohio. And, as if that were not enough to keep him busy, Joe is also a volunteer fireman in his home town of Metamora.

When asked what he likes best about his jobs, Joe simply smiles and replies, "I just like to work!"
