A. Clothing can be laundered and put in a bag or box. There is no need
for hangers and many other acceptable items can be placed in boxes.
Q. Where do I take my donations?
A. You can take your donations to any one of our retail stores or
donation stations. Each of our locations are attended, not just a drop box.
Q. What happens to my donations?
A. All donations are sorted and put on our sales floor for sale and the proceeds benefit Goodwill's mission.
Q. What do I receive for my donation?
A. You receive a tax receipt that you can use for a tax deduction. You also know that your donation has helped people with barries to employment in Nortwest Ohio.

Cash gifts and bequests to Goodwill are tax-deductible.
In most cases, donations to Goodwill are tax deductible as a charitable donation at their fair market value. Only you can determine the fair market value of your donation. Goodwill will furnish a written acknowledgement for you at the time of your donation. As the donor you are responsible for obtaining this written acknowledgement and maintaining all tax records.
