Party for the Planet

Join the Toledo Zoo, Goodwill and other partners in celebrating Mother Earth and exemplifying our mission of being advocates for wildlife and conserving the natural world during Party for the Planet!
Drop off your recyclable goods – including hard-to-recycle items– between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Zoo’s Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot. Admission/parking charges do not apply to this special recycling project. For a list of items that will be accepted; https://www.toledozoo.org/recycle
The Zoo is a perfect place to spend a great “green” day with your family! Deliver your recyclable items and learn about environmentally-friendly initiatives through conservation talks, animal demonstrations and activities across the Zoo.
The Wild Toledo Native Plant Nursery will also be open 10am-2pm for in-person shopping. Stop by to browse over 400 species of native plants that will help to support wildlife in your own backyard.
