Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio Continues Partnership with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio
Girl Scouts to Setup Cookie Booths at Goodwill Locations Throughout Northwest Ohio
Toledo, Ohio – January 11, 2024 – Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio will continue their partnership with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio (GSWO).
This will be the second, consecutive year that Girl Scouts will setup cookie booths outside all thirteen Goodwill store locations in Northwest Ohio, February 23 – March 17. Sales from the cookies help Girl Scouts and their Troops develop financial literacy skills that will last a lifetime.
“We are thrilled to enhance our partnership with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. Every April, Girl Scouts across Ohio visit Goodwill stores to earn a special patch for doing a ‘good turn’, by donating to the stores,” said Amy Wachob President/CEO; Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio, Inc. She furthers states, “Having the Scouts fundraise at our store locations by selling their cookies, will teach them workforce skills that they can use later in life. Our customers and Team Members also benefit from the convenience of their delicious selection!”
Throughout 2023, Goodwill served over 8,500 individuals with job readiness and workforce development programs. To learn more about the positive impact Goodwill has made in Northwest Ohio communities as well as location information, visit www.goodwillnwohio.com.
